Transit visa

1. Please submit a passport with a valid period of more than 6 months, a completed visa application form and attach a passport size photo (2-inch in a white or blue background).

2. Confirmed return ticket itinerary.

3. Certificate of deposit for not less than RMB 1,600

4. A letter of guarantee (in English or Thai) issued by the applicant's unit or employer with the official seal of the unit and the business card of the guarantor; the letter of guarantee indicates the applicant's name, position, contact details, the purpose of visit and duration of stay in Thailand.

5. Cash carried by tourists entering Thailand will be subject to random checks by the immigration administrator:

*Transit visa - cash or equivalent in foreign currency: THB 10,000 (per person); THB 20,000 (per household)

*Tourist visa - cash or equivalent in foreign currency: THB 20,000 (per person); THB 40,000 (per household)

6. Those holding a valid visa from a third country (if required) can stay in Thailand for 5 days.

1. The right to issue various visas belongs to the embassy.

(1) Visa fees are subject to change without prior notice and will not be refunded once paid.

(2) The visa officer has the right to request additional information and interview the applicant if necessary.

2. To apply for a landing visa, you shall prepare the following materials in advance:

(1) Passport with a valid period of not less than 6 months; a two-inch bareheaded photo against a white background; THB 10,000 (individual) and THB 20,000 (family) or equivalent foreign currency (Thailand Immigration Bureau will check it randomly.); and a round-trip air ticket of not more than 15 days (e-ticket printed version); return ticket with a period of not more than 15 days (the printed version of e-ticket)

(2) The holders of landing visas are not allowed to apply for an extension except for special reasons such as illness. 3. Requirements for the entry port of Thailand, allowing for the application for a landing visa:

(1) According to the regulations of the Ministry of Health of Thailand, applicants who enter Thailand from the regions and countries with yellow fever shall present their international health certificates to indicate that they have been vaccinated against yellow fever. When handling a visa application, an international health certificate shall be submitted together with a visa application form.

(2) When handling a visa application, an international health certificate shall be submitted together with a visa application form. The citizens of the regions and countries with yellow fever do not need to issue an international health certificate if they do not enter Thailand from the infected areas. In order to avoid unnecessary trouble, the applicants shall be able to issue a certificate to prove that their residence is not in the infected area.

4. The countries that need to apply for a visa in a special way

(1) The citizens of the countries requiring a special visa application shall apply for their visas through special means. The citizens of such countries are required to apply for visas at their domestic or resident embassies or consulates or the designated Thai embassies.

(2) The applicants shall contact the Thai Embassy or consulate nearby to check from which consulate they can apply for visas and how to apply for visas before going to Thailand.
