Foreign-based applicants

Please   note that the Thai Embassy only accepts applications from individuals with   the right of residence in China. After returning to China after the trip, the   residence permit shall be valid before application.

Only   foreigners with Chinese residence permits can apply for visas.

Non-Immigrant   OA-long Stay Visa

Only   for applicants who are over 50 years old and do not work in Thailand

If   you marry a Thai person but do not meet any of the above conditions, you should   provide a copy of the marriage certificate and will be granted with the type   of visa according to the situation.

A   physical examination report within three months showing a state without the   following diseases issued by a regular hospital (including leprosy, severe   tuberculosis, elephant’s feet, drug addiction and syphilis)

Local   property certificate or lease contract in Thailand. (If the applicant   provides the property certificate under the name of spouse or children, the   corresponding relationship certificate shall be provided.)

The   certificate of no criminal record and the Chinese version of physical   examination report shall be sent to the local notary office for notarization   in Chinese and Thai and then sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China   for double authentication.

Diplomatic   visa

Only   for the holders of diplomatic or official passports and members of   international organizations in Thailand during  performance of official duties

The   circular note or the certificate of the applicant certified by the government   or international organization to prove the identity of the applicant and the   purpose of visiting Thailand.

Free   of charge

Please   submit a passport with a valid period of more than 6 months, a completed visa   application form and attach a passport size photo (2-inch in a white or blue   background).

Those   going to Thailand to perform official duties, guests of the Thai government   or for other reasons

*   The applicant holding a diplomatic passport shall provide the original and   copy of the diplomatic card.
