Introduction to Individual Comprehensive Account Services
Dear Customer,
To further enhance the account service quality and provide more convenient RMB and foreign currency settlement services to individual customers, KASIKORNBANK (CHINA) COMPANY LIMITED (the “Bank”) has launched Individual Comprehensive Account Services. Individual Comprehensive Accounts are categorized into individual savings comprehensive account, individual foreign exchange comprehensive account, and individual foreign exchange capital comprehensive account.
· Individual Savings Comprehensive Account
This account can be used for RMB savings, RMB payment and settlement, and non-business-related foreign exchange receipts and payments under current account items. The personal savings comprehensive account can include an RMB current deposit account, current deposit accounts in all foreign currencies offered at branches (incl. sub-branches) of the Bank and various term deposit products (e.g., term deposits and call deposits in both RMB and foreign currencies).
· Individual Foreign Exchange Settlement Comprehensive Account
This account is designed for individuals engaged in foreign trade operations or self-employed businesses, and is used for foreign exchange purchases, settlements, and other business-related foreign exchange receipts and payments under current account items. It can include current deposit accounts in all foreign currencies offered at branches of the Bank and various term deposit products (e.g., term deposits and call deposits).
· Individual Foreign Exchange Capital Comprehensive Account
This account is intended for foreign exchange receipts and payments under capital account items. It can include current deposit accounts in all foreign currencies offered at branches of the Bank and various term deposit products (e.g., term deposits and call deposits).
Note: There is only one current deposit account of a single currency under the same Comprehensive Account opened. If the customer requires more than one current deposit accounts in a single currency, he/she shall apply for more than one Comprehensive Accounts. There is no limit on the number of term deposit accounts under one Comprehensive Account, unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations.
Currently, we offer account and settlement services in the following currencies: RMB, USD, HKD, EUR, SGD, JPY, THB, MYR*, IDR*, and VND. Individual customers may select to apply for accounts in all available currencies at once when opening an account or select only specific currencies initially and apply for additional currency accounts as needed in the future.
*To further enhance service related to MYR and IDR, services related to MYR and IDR are currently unavailable. For the time of business resumption, please refer to the announcement on the official website of the Bank.
The interest rates and service fees (if any) for Comprehensive Accounts are implemented in accordance with the standards published by the Bank. After the launch of this service, customers may continue using any single-currency accounts previously opened with the Bank or apply to open new Comprehensive Accounts.
