Visa instructions Important notice

Visa types and application requirements
List of visa-free countries to Thailand
Landing visas
According to the latest announcement of the Ministry of the Interior of Thailand, the citizens holding Chinese Mainland passports can apply for landing visas in Thailand for 15 days at each immigration office of Thailand.
Materials for landing visa:
1. Passport with a valid period of not less than 6 months
2. A two-inch bareheaded photo in a white background
3. THB 10,000 (individual) and THB 20,000 (family) or equivalent foreign currency (Thailand Immigration Bureau will check it randomly.)
4. Return ticket with a period of not more than 15 days (the printed version of e-ticket)

List of countries in yellow fever endemic areas
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Health of Thailand, those applicants who enter Thailand from the regions and countries with yellow fever shall present their international health certificates to indicate that they have been vaccinated against the yellow fever.
When handling visa application, international health certificate shall be submitted together with visa application form. When the applicants arrive at the airport in Thailand, they shall present their international health certificate to the staff from the immigration bureau. The citizens of the regions and countries with the yellow fever do not need to issue an international health certificate if they do not enter Thailand from the infected areas. In order to avoid unnecessary trouble, the applicants shall be able to issue a certificate to prove that their residence is not in the infected area. The countries that need to apply for a visa in a special way.
The citizens of the countries requiring special visa application shall apply for their visas through special means. The citizens of such countries are required to apply for visas at their domestic or resident embassies or consulates or the designated Thai embassies. Therefore, the applicants shall contact the Thai Embassy or consulate nearby to check which consulate they can apply for visas and how to apply for visas before going to Thailand.
